A group of friends and I went to Surf Snowdonia to do the Crash & Splash Assault Course last week. Prices vary throughout the week but for a Saturday it cost us £25 each (pre booking seems to be essential). Like a number of attractions in North Wales, it’s not very accessible by public transport. We took a taxi from Conwy Rail Station which set us back about £20. I think there’s a bus from Llandudno or Conwy too.

Surf Snowdonia itself is very impressive. The changing rooms and locker areas are really nice and we paid £5 each to rent wetsuits, shoes and gloves. We were taken out to the assault course by two
staff members and were a little disappointed by the size of it (there were only five obstacles). It was good fun and the staff member did try to make it more interesting with challenges but it’s more suited to a younger audience.
After about 30 minutes we moved on to The Blob which was great fun although some of my friends had a sore neck for a day or two after.

Afterwards we had a drink in the bar which was lovely because it overlooks the surfing area and feels really friendly and warm. There’s also a restaurant there but we didn’t venture in.
Overall, I’m not sure it was worth £25 for me but it was good fun. The midweek tickets are £15 so I would recommend getting those instead if you can.
